Vertical Jump Clinic – 6 Week Saturday Series
Vertical Jump Clinic – 6 Week Saturday Series
This clinic is not only for volleyball players, but it’s also a perfect way to prepare for the upcoming basketball season and is highly beneficial for athletes in ALL sports.
Over six weeks, athletes will be coached through progressions designed to improve loading and acceleration off of one foot and two feet. This training translates directly into increased jump height and a reduced risk of jump-related injuries.
Highlights of the program include:
-
Week 4 Force Plate Testing: Athletes will test their verticals on force plates to identify their unique jump profile. Based on this data, they will be given individualized exercises to continue improving outside of BlockOut.
-
Performance Tracking: Every athlete will be tested on their highest touch on the Vertec and maximum effort vertical jump height on the jump mat during both the first and last class, so they leave with measurable progress.
-
Take-Home Training: Each athlete will leave with their performance numbers and targeted exercises to continue developing their vertical.
