December (Advanced) – Serve/Serve Receive Program
Dates: December 2 – December 18
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Location: BlockOut Academy — 133 West Oxmoor Road, Birmingham, AL 35209
Program Overview
The Advanced Serve/Serve Receive Program is built for experienced volleyball athletes—those with a minimum of 3 years of school and/or club experience—who are High School JV or Varsity.
This 3-week program focuses on the two most decisive skills in volleyball: serving and serve receive. Players will refine precision, consistency, and confidence under pressure while also developing the strength and speed necessary to perform at an elite level.
The Advanced Level is designed for High School JV and Varsity athletes who want to compete at the top of their roster.
Note: Players with 1–2 years of experience should register for a Developmental Program, while athletes with only recreational background should start with the Limited Experience / School of Volleyball Program.
Schedule
7:00–8:00 PM — Strength & Conditioning (Suite #315, across the parking lot from the main BlockOut Academy gym)
8:00–9:00 PM — Serve/Serve Receive Skills (BlockOut Academy gym)
Tuition & Payment
Total Fee: $400
Athletes Will Work On:

Advanced serving mechanics, accuracy, and consistency

Developing a variety of serves (standing, float, and jump) for tactical advantage

Serve receive footwork, platform control, and opponent reading

Handling high-pressure serve/receive situations with confidence

Strength & conditioning to improve power, speed, and durability

This program is ideal for athletes looking to dominate from the service line and in serve receive rotations. With limited spots (12 athletes), players receive high-rep, focused training, detailed feedback, and the technical and mental edge needed to perform with confidence.
