December (Developmental) – Alabama Setter Country

Program Overview
Setter Country is Alabama’s only specialized setting program, created to teach and enhance all aspects of setting through progressive, detailed, and developmental training.

This 3-week Developmental Setter Country program is designed for athletes in 7th grade and up who have at least 2 years of school or club setting experience. It’s the perfect fit for developing setters ready to refine their technique, improve consistency, and elevate their volleyball IQ—the qualities that separate good setters from great ones.

Schedule
4:00–5:00 PM — Setter Skill Training (BlockOut Academy gym)
5:00–6:00 PM — Strength & Conditioning (Suite #315, across the parking lot from BlockOut Academy)

Tuition & Payment
Total Fee: $415

Athletes Will Work On:

• Hand positioning and ball control

• Wrist and hand flexibility + strengthening

• Core and upper back mobility and strength

• Setting IQ and decision-making

• Accuracy under pressure

• Footwork efficiency and transition

• Setter attacks and offensive options

• Video analysis for growth

• Mindset and leadership development

Focused setter-specific training during formative years builds the foundation for advanced play—confidence, decision-making, consistency, and leadership. This program helps athletes master the technical, physical, and mental tools needed to set at the next level.

With limited enrollment (12 athletes), every participant receives focused attention, detailed feedback, and progressive reps to maximize growth each session.
