PROGRAM SUMMARY

Alabama Setter Country is a one-of-a-kind, high-level setter development program designed to train every detail of the setting position in a progressive, intentional way.

Great setters don’t just “have good hands.”
They have great coaches, attention to detail, consistency, and a relentless commitment to improvement.

This program is built to develop those exact qualities—technically, mentally, and tactically—so setters can perform at their highest level when it matters most.

WHO IT’S FOR

This mini camp is designed for JV and Varsity-level setters who:

  • Want to compete at a high varsity level

  • Are preparing for collegiate recruitment

  • Are current collegiate setters seeking additional, position-specific training

TRAINING FOCUS

  • Hand positioning & ball control

  • Wrist and hand flexibility & strengthening

  • Core and upper-back strength & mobility

  • Footwork and balance

  • Setting accuracy and tempo

  • Setter IQ and decision-making

  • Offensive options and setter attacks

SESSION FORMAT

This camp includes 3 total hours of focused training:

  • 2 hours of on-court technical setter training

  • 1 hour of mental performance training

Mental performance focuses on decision-making, leadership, communication, confidence, and ownership—the qualities that separate good setters from great ones.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to JV & Varsity players with 2–3 years of school or club experience
